May 12 Considerable of a sensation has been caused in Boston art circle by the statement that the famous tapestries of Lebrun, representing Summer, Autumn and Winter, which were stolen from the " Palais Royal in Psris during the revolution, are now on exhibition in the Boston Museum of Fine Arts. It is stated that the discovery was made by Emlle Bernat, a tapestry expert from Paris, who was called here to re novate and restore the three tapestries. He found two tag between the lining and the web, reading, "Palais Royal, Salon No. 5" He declared the.tapestrie the work of Lebrun and expressed the opinion tha; they were made between J 690 and 1730. .According to the, re cords of the Museum the tapestries cam to Boston fifty year ago.
