The gene ral sentiment of the speeches was that they would not locate in Oakland, and if all it would be tmporarilly. About eight o'clock the weather cleared but a cold wind added to the discomforts of those camped in th park. Of th fifty thousand that crowed the Golden Gate Park, only six thousand remain. The houseing of th campers continues but there are still many who are forced to live in the open. Off FOR THE s J. A.Thronson, president of the Aurelia mine, up Grande Ronde river, will leave for the mines Monday, with a crew of fourteen men and three teams for the purpose of making a road so the company can convey their machinery to th pro perty. It ie expected to have the road completed during the next six weeks. The mill will be run by water power. A fifty horse Pel ton water wheel has been ordered. This weighs 5,000 pounds and the mill about 1 6,000 pounds. Mr, Thsonson is confident that before the year closes, they will have a heavy divi dent producer.
