Miss Swain as "Leone" was the living person ideation of southern beauty and proved herself well worthy her reputation the most finished and vesatile leading woman In repertoire. Mr. Tannings Bob" was a beautiful piece of dramatic ' interpretation as was Mr. B. S. Frank' "Dick'' these two accomplished actors maintaining a splendid emotional intentity throughout the action of the play. Messrs Hatfield and Howard In their respective character roles in a most finished manner while Wm Hntchison as "Mose" proved himself a most clever and versatile performer. . Lt Grande, Oregon . - ORDINANCE NO 324, ' Series 1908 An ordinance establishing the street and eide-walk grades of Second Street in the City of La Grande, Oregon, from point named herein. The city of La Grande does ordain as follows: Section 1. The street and side-walk grade are hereby established at follows, upon Second Street In the city of La Grande, Oregon, towit: Commencing at the intersection of Second Street and 1 Streets, said city, at an elevation of 42.60 feet above th present established base for fixing the grades of th street of said city, thence south along the center of Second Street to the center of H Street 47 feet above th base, thenc south to the center of G Street 64 feet above said base; thence south to the center of F Street 61.74 feet above the said base; thence south to D Street 73.92 feet above (aid base; thence south to C Street at an elevation of 86 feet above said base. Section 2 The grade of the side-walks shall be upon said Second Street between the points mentioned herein, and are hereby established at th same elevation below said grades, a upon other ctreets of the city heretofore established by ordinance. Section S. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the 1 Oth day of April 1 906, and shall be pub lished for one issue in the La Grande Evening Observer.
