Woman's Home and Foreign Missionary society of the Presbyterian church was held yes terday afternoon at the home of Mrs, Ramsey, Mrs. Brookler assisting as host ess. Scriber under consid eration, last evening returned a verdict in favor of Mr. Scriber,... for the sum of $463.92. He offered no word of abffse to those who practice sprinkling or pour ing but urged that we may unite in taking the safe tide. Many who have accepted tprinkling aftei ward are dissatisfied and request immersion, but those who have been immersed do not later alr -for tprinkling.
