At 10:30 j dainty luncheon was served in the .dining room which was profusely decorated with hearts. ' J. II. PEARE. Jeweler and Optician i Miss Mary Chase, the national lecturer in the cause of Womens Suffrage gave a vary interesting lecture at the Arnory hail last evening. She reviewed the con tition in the states where women have equal rights and showed the conditions to be such that no one ntel have any fear whatever of the results. Miss Chase is a pleasant speaker and does not tirade but deals with the facts as they exist. , . . At the close of the address a campaign committee of thirty-six was organized with Leah Paul as chairman and Mrs. R. E. Worstell as secretary. . The next meeting will be held at the residence of Mrs. A. M. Paul, on Adams Avenue, on the 26th. of this month. 1906, Vnr. ris, both of Summerville, Oregon were married at the Foley Hotel, John E. At the time he entered upon his term of ser vice, a strong petition was sent to the vovernor asking immediate pardon, but he deferred action until this week.
