The home team has been working hard for the past ten days, and every man' is In fine condition for a hard contest, and confident of vic tory. The exact line-up has not yet been selected, and will probably not be known until the day of the game, but it is sure to be a good strong aggregation that will face Pendleton at the kick-off, and one that will be a credit to La Grande. will captain the team and play quarter back, while Robertson and Driskell will play right and left half, respectively, and Clare Gillilan will be found in his old position as full back. , This quartette of players forms a combination that is cer tainly hard to beat in any land. The line will be selected from the fol lowing list: Bay. Foley, Grout, Gutridge, Wilson, Faulk, Lemmon, Halley, Peach.; Allstott, Cayler, Hopper, Stoll and Meyers. Reports from Pendleton are to the ef fect that they expect to show the La Grande boys a few tricks about foot ball heretofore unheard of in this quiet hamlet, and perhaps they will, but they will have to show the supporters of the La Grande team. A big delegation of rooters will accompany the Pendleton team to this city and will try to cheer their favorites on to viotory. The La Grande team will turn out for practice tomorrow at 2:50 and those who wish to get an idea of the team we have, should not fail to see the boys at work.
