been made by State Treasurer Moore
and State Saperintondent Ackvman.
The total amount apportioned waa
t2CO.178.60, the largest In the history
of the state for a single year. The ap
portionment waa made at a per capita
rate of $1.70, the number of school
children In Oregon belrg 158,045. the
apportionment last year waa made at
a per capita rate of 1.61 on a . much
smaller school population. '
