eight of the athletic students assocla
tion and the employees of the Stan
ford estate. As the mournful proces
sion entered toe chapel, Chopin's
magnificent funeral march waa ren
dered on a great organ. After the
servioee were over, the procession re
formed lor tneir maron to tne mau
soleum, where services, though brief,
were again held. Three hymns were
sung, followed by an eulogy and a
beautiful ritual of oommotal, of the
body to the tomb, which was perform
ed by Bishop William Ford Nyobols,
