' ' Funeral Today The funeral of the late John Morri- aon, who died last Tuesdsy in Portland was held this afternoon at one o'clock at the Preibyterian churoh the Bev. B B. Hays officiating. The remains arrived this morning and were met at the train by Giffin and Hogan, funer al direotors, and taken to their under taking parlors on Depot street, and from there taken to tbe Maaonio tern pie where the impressive ceremony of that order was held. From there they were taken to tba Presbyterian church where tbe funeral sermon waa preach ed. Tbe interment took place in tbe Masonie cemetery. The deceased was an honored pioneer of this valley- and leaves a host of respected relatives and friends to mourn bis death.
