Bach beautiful einging ie creating a deep tntereet to the meet-Inge. iurandc Ronde Apples The OQMtlnn Orchards in this vicinity haa been dleoaeeed In all its phaeee daring the last few years, and will continue to be diecuasod, for la reality each fruit farm ia a different eolation as they all differ aa the care of the orchard I while young and the difference of 'opinion aato the varietlee and the amoanta realized therefrom. Mr Wm Hall, of May Park and often called the father of that territory, now one net work of trait farms, from the fact that he waa the first to realize the qualitiee of the soil and s,t oat en orchard. This year he eold his winter apples to the Oregon Prodace Co for wbiob be received 1500 This of ooarse does not represent by any means the total income Mr Hall deiived from his ten acre fruit farm, for he grows large quantities of smell fruits and berries which he markets here in the oity. It is a perfectly aafe atatement that Mr Hall reoeivee more from hie ten acre fruit farm than many who have 125,000 invested at 8 per cent. Figuring from thie atandpoiut what ia Mr Hall's fruit farm worth. Grande Boode apples are mating a great record thlr year. The facts are this has been a hard season to place apples from the reason the outside markets have been overloaded with Inferior and cheap, (rnit. Notwith standing this handicap the Oregon Produce Co have ahipped sixty cars of cboioe apples and the various markets they have entered ie surprising, some to the Atlantic oosst, to' California, several cars to the Pnillipines and a few shipment to Honolula. These oars contained from 600 to 760 boxes each 'averaging about $425, amounting to 125,600, of coarse this doee not represent their total seasons shlpmente for they still have their large basement and upper floora filled with Grand Bonde beauties which they are packing and shipping Just aa faat as they oan secure cars and markets. Where ever our frntt has gone the buyers are anxious to secure more like It as faat aa their trade can ue It. 1905 Fair Flyer Arrangements are being made for a solid Pullman train of 10 cars between Chicago and Portland after May 1st for the purpose of eocomodating the tourist and Lewie and Clark fair trafflo to the coast.
