The Russsan peasantry are also devoted followers " and implicit believers in the Grek Church of which the Czar is the bead .V By their religion and tradition they are taught that the Czar cauldo no wrong ' that as emperor he represents and look) out for the welfare and happiness of the people in earth ly affairs, and as head, of the Lhurcu he is the vice gerant of Qod and guides the spiritual welfare . of his ' subjects. ' If things go wrong and injustice is done in Russia the people believe with a , faith incdmpre bensible to us, it is because the Czar is kept in iguorance thereof by the subordinates that sur round hi throne. v ' . , While the people love l and trust the Czar, they , hate and distrust the beaureaucrats that surround the throne. For this hatred and distrust they have good reason, for .the world has never known , a '; more corrupt avoracioas, lascivous ' and sel fish class than the- official class in Russia, The great multitude that walked the streets of St Petersburg, unarmed, praying for an audience with the Czar, were animated ' with tbe hope, their last hope in their unutter able condition of wretchedness that if they could only see the Czar, tell him their woes and show him their pitiable condi tion that as soon as he knew their leal condition be, would aleviate it by doing justice to them. Their demand was refused, their plaint was drowned with volleys of musketry that sent murderous bullets through their bodies and drenched the streets with blood . There can be but one result from this act of mur derous folly., the love and loyalty which tbe 'Russian ' peasantry have borne for the Czar for centuries was ' shattered and the process of its utter extinct ion begau that will continue until the hatred for the Czar will be as pronounced aa it now is for the despised Caurocrats that surround his throne, and when' that day comes as come it will, the Russian Empire will fall amid the exeoraiioa of the com mon people for, Freedoms battle once begun Bequthed from bleeding aire to eon, S Though baffeled oft, is ever wop Music B P Tail the pioneer masio teacher of Grande Bonds Valley ie still in tbe rinc During mr venation I mde it tnj business as well as pleasure to at tend conocrts, operas, and in faol ever thing in mj line o( business and I fouad that I as a teac'ier, and interpreter of muiio and etill In tbe front rank.
