Due proclamation being made, the
following proceedings were had:
Matter of Undertaking of A. E.
Thompson. Sheriff.
On this day A. E. Thorn peon
presents to the Court his official
undertaking In the sum of $10,000,
and an additional undertaking in
the sum of 13000 as tax collector,
which said undertakings are duly
approved by the court.
Matter of drawing jury list:
On this day the court completes
the selection of the jury list com
posed of 200 names selected from
the tax roll as by law provided.
Matter of aid to Jutila family:
On this day it is ordered by the
court that the Clerk be and he is
hereby instructed to issue a general
fund warrant in favor of Thos
Basse, in the sum of $20 for aid of
Jutila family.
Whereupon. Court adjourned un
til Thursday. Jan. 9, 1913.

Due proclamation being made the
following proceedings were had:
Matter of tax levy for years 1912
and 1913, and of the estimated
amounts to be raised for the several
purposes:
On this 9th day of January. 1913,
this matter coming on for the con
sideration of the court, and it ap
pearing to the court from the estl
mates now made that it will be
necessary to raise $18,432.25 for
state purposes; $28,496 for school
purposes; $356.20 for library; $72.97
for S. and S. indigent fund;
$40,092.20 for county; $43,785.04
for general road.
And it appearing to the court that
the total amount of assessable prop
erty of the count-, as appears by
the assessment rolls for the year
1912, is $14,595,015.00.
That in order to raise the afore
said amounts for the state, school,
library and S. and S. indigent fund
and county purposes, it will be
necessary to levy a tax of 6 mills
upon all the assessable property of
the county, and to raise the sum of
$43,785.04, for general road pur
poses it will be necessary to levy a
tax of 3 mills upon all the assessable
property within the county.
It is therefore ordered by the
Court that a levy of 6 mills on the
dollar, divided as follows: For state

office endorsed thereon, duly tub

accounts of sheriff, assessor and
school superintendent:

the court that all bills for ex
pense of above mentioned officers
shall be accompanied with an
itemized statement showing for
what particular purpose each
item of expense was incurred.
Matter of communication from
Frank Malmberg:
On this day it appearing to the
court from a communication from
Frank Malmberg to the secre
tary of the county board of health
that a portion of the Mist-Clats
kanie road is ditched in such a
manner that a large portion of
the drainage of said road enters
the well of said Frank Malmberg,
It is ordered by the court that
the clerk be and he is hereby
ordered to notify the road super
visor of road district No. 13 to
turn the water from the said road
in such manner that said well
shall not be contaminated there
by. Matter of letter of instructions
to road supervisors:
