On this day bids for special itn provement of road districts No 9 10 and ll were opened and exam- bed by the court as follows; Dist No 10 F J Phral Keystone road Sta A to ' B for $810 Upper Clatskanie sta A to sta B for 650 Smith road sta A to sta B for in 50 John Lindberg Keystone road sta 0 to sta B (36) for 28 cents per lin ft on condition that County build bridge furnish wheel Scraper and culverts. And it appearing to the court that F H Phral are not accompanied by either certified check or bond and that the bid of John Lindberg is too high it is ordered by the court that all of said bids be and the same are hereby rejected. It further appearing to the court that there are no bids on file for special improvement in districts No 9 and 11 it is further ordered by the court that all of said improvements as advertised for said districts dis tricts No 9 10 and 11 be performed by the supervisors of the res pec tive districts under the supervision and direction f othe court. Matter of Scalp bounty claims On this day the clerk presents to the court duly verified scalp bounty claims as follows; Claim No 31 Frank Comwell for $6. for 3 wild cats Claim No 32 Fred Floeter for $12. for 1 wild cat, 1 cougar. Claim 33 J as Hudson for $4 for 2 wild cats. Claim No 34 J P Archibald $1 50 for 1 coyote. Claim No 35 Fred Floeter foe $6. for 3 wild cats. And the court ; being advised in the matter it is ordered by the court ihat said claims be and the same are hereby approved.. . ' ' Matter of aid to Jutilla family. On this day it is ordered ' by the court ' that monthly remittance heretofore ordered for aid to Jutilla family be discontinued from this date. Matter of petition of Frank Warren for rebate of tax On this day comes on for consid eration the petition of Frank Warren for rebate of tax on account of alleged excessive valuation placed on certain personal property and the court being advised in the matter is ordered by the court that said petition be and the same is hereby denied. Matter of petition of Columbia Contract Co for rebate of tax. On this day comes on for consid eration the petition of Columbia Contract Co for rebate of tax in the sum of $180.47 alleged to have been paid for year 1911 as tax on steamers Triumph and Sampson.
