Base Ball League The lower Columbia River Base Ball League has completed or- !T,.!ll!,!j,!lnwMtettdVte Mr. V ed. The towns represented in the league are Kelso, Rainier, Cathlamet, Clatskanie and St Helens. Every third Sunday each team will play independent ball and two Sundays will play the league teams. Lach team will pay its own travelling ex penses and each team will keep all the (f ate money while at home. It is therefore up to the home towns to support the team by turning out The season opens with Cathlamet at St Helens on April 28 and Kelso at Clatskanie w ith Rainier playing independent. On May 5 St Helens plays Rainier at Rainier and on the 12 St. Hel ens plays independent at home. On the 19th Clatskanie plays St Helens at St. Helens and on the 20th St Helens goes to Kelso to cross bats with that team. A full schedule will be printed in the next issue of the Mist.
