charge of the business, in connection
with Mr, W. E. Stout, who retains

Popejoy have charge of the Stable
and teaminsr while Mr. Veazie has
taken the Auto Bus. We wish them
all success in their new business
venture.

several inches of crushed rock will
be placed on the street and rolled

H. F. McCormick and M. E.
Miller have been appointed as re
presentatives of the St. Helens Com
mercial Club to attend the Gover
nor's banquet at Portland, Satur
day night. At this meeting Gover
nor West will tell all about his re
cent tour of the East and the ad
vantages which the state will pro
bably derive from the trip.

the latest machine for making mor
tar blocks and cement brick. They
have made a number of the blocks
and brick at their temporary
quarters in the Watters Barn on

intending to build any kind of a
building should not fail to see them.
The blocks are 8 x i x 11 inches and
will be sold at the excedingly low
price of 22 cents each. At this
price there is no reason for any one
not having a first claM basement.
Their cement brick will be sold at
