CIRCUIT COURT s of Judge Eakin was here this week and cleaned up a number of matters that have been pend ing for some time, though the biir term of Circuit Court wi not take place until the regular October term. The Judge wi be back at this place some time in September. The following matters were attended to this week: The cases of Walmsley Walmsley, James vs the city Rainier and Morgus vs the Col umbia Packing Co. were dis missed. Stubbs vs Felton. Demurrer sustained and defendant allowed twenty days to answer. Edward Edwards vs Columbia Packing Co. Part of testimony taken, and case continued September 11th. Andrew King vs City of St, Helens. Demurrer overruled and City allowed fifteen days which to answer. Anna S. Dodge vs Chas. S, Dodge. Decree of divorce. Johnson vs Frank Wilkins, Demurrer overruled and defend ant allowed ten days to hie ans wer. This is the case in which the city is concerned, as the sui is over collecting the pound fee a3 prescribed by the cow ordi nance.
