for hearing the petition of O. E. Hunter
for a license to sell spirituous, vinous
and malt Honors and fermented cider in

l'recinct for a period of six months.
And it appearing to the court that a
majority of all the legal voters of said
precinct, who are actual residents of
(joble l'recinct, and who have actually
resided therein nt least 30 days preced

it further appearing to the eourt from
the affidavit of the publisher of the
Clatskanie Chief, a weekly newspaper of
genera! circulation published in said
county and state, that said petitioner

affidavit of one of the signers of said
petition and of two of the resident
householders of sard precinct that writ
ten copies of said petition and notice

duly approved by the County Judge,
and a duplicate receipt of the County
Treasurer for the sum of $200, and
there being no remonstrance against the

spirituous, vinous and malt liquors and
fermented cider in less quantities than

tate of A. It. Richardson for remission
of tax On this day comes on for hear
ing the petition of the executor of the
estate of A. I.. Richardson for the re
mission of the sum of $32.90 taxes on
notes assessed to said A. L. Richardson,
and it appearing to the court that said
notes had been pant prior to tne lime
of assessing same, it is ordered by the
court that the slieritt remit me saia

Report of road viewers on N. Finckney
road On this day this matter coming
on for hearing upon the second read
ing of the report of viewers, which re
port was publicly read upon two dif
ferent days of this term of court, said
viewers reporting no damages to the
lands crossed by this road, and no re
monstrance or claims for damage, be
ing filed, and the court being satisfied
that said road would be of public util
ity, it is therefore ordered by the court
tliat said report, survey, profile and
plat be recorded in suitable hooks kept
for that purpose, and from thenceforth
said road shull be a public highway,
and it is further ordered that the Road
Supervisor in whose district said road
is located shall open the same for pub
lic travel.
