waa rammed and sunk by the South

Two children of Captain McKown, of

his lights were burning brightly and
every possible signal made to avert
the collision, but tbe big steamer bore

accounts of tbe collision given by the
engineer. Clark, and Chief Mate In

Spaniards, the archeological work of
Dr. Uhle has established the fact
that a great civilisation flourished

mate, and that a cultured race, of
higher development than the Ineaa.
