Anyone violating this rule is liable to a penalty of $1 and the water may he turned oft trom his premises. Keeping the telephone cord straight will give you greater «atisfacti <1 in the use of your telephone. The Water Board cautions against the wast ing of water and in the event there should he a fire water users are notified to turn off the water when the fire alarm is sounded. The Watet Board deems these rules necessary on account of the extended dry season and in the effort to conserve the water supply of the city. It asks co-operation of all citizens of St. Helens.
