Miss Nora Larson attended the meeting of the league of young peo ple at Hockinson, Washington. Charles Tarboll, of Denver. Colo rado, a cousin of A. H. of Warren, celled last week and expects to make his future home in Portland. Miss Thelma Duncan, after attend ing the wedding of her brother Elmer, spent the week end with friends -in Portland. Floyd Duncan, who has just re turned from a two years service in the navy, has bought a nice team ot horses and will cultivate the heme farm. Miller, Miss Lynch of St. Helens taking the place cj Miss Muhr; Miss Costello of Portland superseding Miss Myrtle Larson. Tho only one of the last years corps re turning being Miss Anna Chase. A family reunion was held at the residence of A. H. Tarbell; Charles Tarbell of Colorado Springs, Colora do; Harry Tarbell and -family of Portland; Lawrence Tarbell of Yank ton; Mrs. Brown of Yankton, a sis ter of A. H., and Lawrence and all the local Tarbell family. A talkfest was enjoyed by all and Mrs. Tarbell the hostess, served all with a ' bounteous meal. The many friends of Miss Myrtle rLarson were surprised by her mar riage on last Thursday to Mr. Chas. Harvey of Lakevlew at The Dalles. Myrtle Is one of Warren's best and favorably known young people. She has a host of friends who all wish her the greatest joys that life can af ford. The happy couple are the guests of Miss-Nora Larson for a- few days when they will take up their housekeeping at Lakevlew. Robert Fullerton (Uncle Bob) had for the last week, a gentleman fron eastern Oregon, a friend of his min ing days and two daughters. Bob vv.s a fine host and retold all the mining tales of years ago interest ingly for the entertainment of his customers.
