An account of the sailor's life
would be Incomplete without men
tioning the muscots. The most com
mon pets ore gonts, bulldogs, cats,
mdnkoys and parrots. But many
ships have bears, pigs and strango
tropical animals from Cuba and
Mexico, and some battleships have
even carried kangaroos from Austra
