A large part Is used in the making of brushes, and the finer the brlBtle the higher priced brush is produced. It is also curled and used for upholstering. Tho waste wuters are evaporated to a thick brown wax known as "stick" because of its adhesive prop erties. It Is used In tho manufacture of fertlllaor, as it has a high nitro gen content. Hones are used In making phos phates for baking powder and other compounds. They are also ground into poultry feed, and a largo tonnage finds its way Into the fertilizer trade. Hones are also burned for charcoal for uso In tho purification of sirups In the manufacture of sugar. Ilone ash is used In making crucibles for ghiBsmaklng and metal refining Tankage Is a bone and tissue sub stance that Is taken from the tanks after the different parts are rendered for grease.
