If I' a !: : ti AIR GRAFT COLLIDE; NINE MEN LOSE LIVES Vienna. A military aeroplane acci dentally rammed an Austrian army Parseval dirigible at the aviation tteld between Enzersdorf and Flecbamend, sinking the great airship but itself going down to destruction as a result of the accident, with a total loss of nine lives. The two air craft were 2600 feet aloft when the accident occurred. The aeroplane was swooping past the diri gible with b safe margin of distance between the two when It suddenly .swerved almost at right angles, pre sumably due to some mishap to the steering gear, and plunged at fall speed into the big gas bag amidships. There was a terrific explosion and the airship took fire. The flames en gulfed the biplane and In a few mo ments the remnants of both craft with their occupants crashed on the slope of a mountain. The seven men on board the diri gible and the two with the aeroplane were all dead before those who rushed to aid them reached the spot It was ' impossible to tell whether they were burned to death before they struck the ground or were killed by their fall. The headquarters of the National Association Opposed to Woman Suffrage Issued a statement which chaiges that the suffragists called the antls "polecats" In a reso lution adopted by the 47th annual meeting of the New England Suffrage Association. In their retort the antls call the suffragists "social revolution ists" and declare there is nothing in common between the suffragist and true feminist. The antls say the New England suf fragists passed a resolution at their annual meeting saying: "We denounce as a gross slander the charge of the antl-suffraglst that equal suffrage means loose morals, and we protest especially against their attributing to prominent women statements which these women have emphatically disclaimed.
