Ballot Measure 21, designed to show students’ interest in powering the EMU with wind energy and fund ing other sustainability projects, passed 1,150-277. Voter turnout in the primary elec tion was similar to last year’s, with 2,960 students, or about 15.1 percent of the student body, participating. Last year, 14.1 percent participated. Results from the election were re leased at about 11:45 p.m. Sunday night after grievances and a Constitu tion Court injunction delayed the process for more than two days.
