Thankfully, Eugene-area haunts might make your Halloween one “hell” of a night. Diablo's For those 21 and older, Diablo’s Downtown Lounge will host a Hal loween extravaganza Friday through Sunday night. With $10,000 of props, fire dancers and live bands, Manager Joe Morales says Diablo’s Halloween celebration will be one large party. The party will host Dr. Theopoli son Friday; Debris, Monkee Torture and Anonymous Alcoholics & Securi ty on Saturday; and Mistress of Reali ty on Sunday. “Party-goers should dress to im press,” said Morales, who will award the best costume with a trip to Mexico. The bar will serve Halloween spe cialties such as “Lucifer Lemonade” and “Poison Apple shots.” Tickets are $5 for Friday and Satur day and $10 in advance for Sunday night or $15 at the door. “Don’t avoid partying just because it’s Sunday,” Morales said. “At Dia blo’s, we stay true to Halloween and celebrate it on the actual day. It’ll all be worthwhile. ” Rennie's Landing Rennie’s will officially celebrate Halloween on Saturday night. f? Rennie’s will have prizes for the best costumes and special offers on drinks. On Sunday, customers dressed in costume get happy hour prices on any drink from 8 p.m. to close. “(Halloween) has always been a hot night around here,” Manager Dan Geyer said. “Even the bartenders dress up” Taylor7s Bar & Grill This campus-area hangout has big plans for Halloween evening. It will host jazz-rock band Savitri at 10 p.m. Cocktail waitress and senior Kelly Ferguson said admission will be less than $3. The happy-hour special ex tends all day, with drinks ranging from 75 cents to $3. “The place will be busy, but fun.” Ferguson said. DIVAs “Come As You Art... (or Come As You Aren’t) ” is the slogan for the five venue costume party managed by the Downtown Initiative for the Visual Arts in Eugene on Saturday. For $25, partiers can dance salsa at Luna, hear Celtic Rock by Fi anacats at Cafe Paradiso, attend Rogue's Dead Man's Ale tasting and hear acoustic guitar by Jeff Ibach at The Broadway and view an indoor ArtFest at 150 W Broadway.
