NEWS BRIEFS Rains cause law school to flood Heavy rains caused considerable damage to the Knight Law Center's main floor Saturday. According to an e-mail from the law school's Assistant Dean for Fi nance & Operations Jamie Moffitt, the "intense rain combined with some dogged drains in the east parking lots, funneled a tremendous amount of water down the grassy hill, through our courtyard, and into the law build ing." The flood primarily affected the Wayne Morse Commons area and some hallways. Moffitt said classrooms were not significantly affected, and the exam schedule for next week will remain the same. The Wayne Morse Com mons area was roped off, and facili ties' staff and DPS began cleaning up the area. —Ayisha Yahya 'Enjoying the Ride' to be screened Friday Influential University art Professor David Foster will be remembered Fri day evening with the screening of a 30-minute documentary film about his life, entitled "Enjoying the Ride: The Life of David Foster."
