Bellotti, who has compiled a 75-33 record in nine seasons with the Ducks, now has his contract extended through June 30, 2009. The contract addendum will ensure that he will al ways be guaranteed five years remain ing on his current contract. Bellotti's annual salary will remain unchanged. His University base guar anteed contract is set at $650,000. His total incentive package amounts to $1.1 million. The Sacramento, Calif., native has 96 career wins in 14 seasons with Oregon and Chico State. Oregon's trip to the Sun Bowl on Dec. 31 will be the team's eighth post season trip under the former Oregon offensive coordinator (1989-95). In those seven previous trips, he has compiled a 4-3 record. — Hank Hager VOID continued from page 8A Oregon's leading scorer and rebound er, tore her anterior cruciate ligament in practice last week. Ganes played 20 minutes Thursday, starting in Kraayeveld's spot. "I just want to go out and try to give everybody a rest who needs a rest and play hard," Ganes said. In addition to Ganes, junior center Andrea Bills and freshman forward Jessica Shetters were Oregon's keys in side in place of Kraayeveld. Bills led both teams with 17 points, and Ganes was right behind with her 16. Shetters added four points and two blocked shots in her starting debut. "We have tall, athletic young women," Oregon head coach Bev Smith said. 'We felt tonight that we had that size advantage and that we could move our feet and challenge those shots. (Shetters) for sure just did an un believable job and when that young lady learns to challenge shots at the end of it 1 think it's going to be exciting." Shetters had her first collegiate start in front of her hometown crowd. Hie Wilson High School graduate also grabbed two rebounds and an assist in her 14 minutes. "(Shetters) did a good job in start ing," Smith said. "(Ganes) came in and did a really good job having watched the game and where she could be effective, and she did that." The Ducks' height, including a 6 foot-6 Shetters, also helped them outrebound the Rams, 46-41. Bills, the game's MVP, led the Ducks with eight rebounds, while starting point guard Corrie Mizusawa had a sea son-high six rebounds. Bills was the big scorer inside for Oregon, with all but one of her points coming near the glass. "I've always been the down-low player," Bills said. "Whatever the coaches ask of me, I have to get it done and (now) be a leader on the team with (Kraayeveld) being out." Kraayeveld's ACL will be re-evalu ated this week, but Shetters and Ganes made a dent on the offense and defense that is missing with the senior's injury. Defensively against the Ducks, Colorado State made 29 percent of its field goals, struggling inside against the taller Oregon squad. "We wanted to just challenge them to make those shots and if they made them, then we'd try something else," Ganes said.
