Over one-third of students are internationals from over 60 countries and all students speak more than one language. NCNM offers two graduate professional degrees in accredited and recognized programs that prepare you for licensed practice in many states and provinces. Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine, a four-year program of clinical sciences and holistic methods of healing and disease prevention. Master of Science in Oriental Medicine, a four-year program that delves deeply into thousands of years of classical Chinese methods of diagnosis and healing. The Oregon College of Oriental Medicine (OCOM) offers a master's degree program in acupuncture and Oriental medicine (M.Ac.O.M.). The three-calendar-year program includes the study of acupuncture, Chinese herbology, Oriental therapeutic massage, and qi cultivation. Federal financial aid is available for our accredited program. Located in SE Portland, OCOM has been hailed as one of the best acupuncture schools in the country by TCMStudent.com and by TCM World magazine. The OHSU Physician Assistant Program is a 26-month, full-time course of study leading to a Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree.
