He suffered a concussion last week against Stanford when he was inadvertently kicked in the head by one of his own teammates, and he missed some practice time this week because of the injury. If he is able to overcome the injury, his presence will mean depth and speed for the defensive line, which has been the crown jewel of Oregon's play this season. The group ranks 10th in the nation in rushing defense, allowing 85.3 yards per game to opponents. Dorsey was forced to sit out the first five games this season because of a suspen sion for his role in ticket trading in prior seasons. In his three games back, he has made one start at left end and has 12 tackles, 10 of which are solo. He has been a constant source of pressure for op posing quarterbacks since his return, gamering one sack and three tackles for losses. Without him, the Oregon defensive line is good. With him, the group is even better. Quinn Dorsey senior defensive end Denver 6'4", 270 lbs. WASHINGTON Cody Pickett senior quarterback Caldwell, Idaho 6’4", 220 lbs. The Huskies have been down and they have been up this season. They're 4-4 overall, losing in an upset to Nevada, 28-17, and in a blowout to UCLA, 46-16. Senior quarterback Cody Pickett has been a source of Washington's poor play this season, but at the same time, a key component of its offense when everything is going well. He won't equal his last season total of 4,458 passing yards — a Pacific 10 Conference record — but his 2,187 yards in the air are re spectable. He has thrown for 11 touchdowns, but he has been picked off nine times. When Pickett is on, the Washing ton offense can be one of the most potent in the con ference. When he is off, the Huskies suffer. When he tjirew three interceptions against Oregon State two weeks ago, Washington lost, 38-17. Against Oregon last season, Pickett exploded for 316 yards on 26 of 37 passing for four touchdowns.
