Summer Events:
Stone Carving Workshop
The 6th annual UO Stone Carving Workshop, sponsored by the University of Oregon Dept,
of Art will be held in Eugene, from Sunday, June 17 through Saturday, June 23, 2001.
This workshop is an intensive seven-day experience in traditional & contemporary
approaches to stone carving, using hand & pneumatic tools. Faculty includes:
Laura Alpert & Tom Urban, with special presentations by David Miller, & Ron Gietgey.
Registration: This workshop is listed in the UO Summer Bulletin of Classes, available
at the UO Bookstore, or the Summer Session office at 333 Oregon Hall. For specific
