Women’s continued from page 7 A win against Stanford at Maples.” The Ducks already defeated Stanford, 72-54, on Jan. 13 at The Pit. But, as Runge predicted after that game, the Cardinal (12-7, 6-3) are much improved in the latter part of the season. Injuries forced Stanford to ad just to differing roles, with fresh man Nicole Powell having to take over at point guard. It's going to be a tougher game [than earlier this year]. Jaime Craighead junior guard season 10-5 on the road, are 3-6 this season as they head to Stan ford and Cal to finish a four-game road swing. “We just want to win,” senior center Jenny Mowe said. “It would really lift everyone’s spirits. It’s hard to be in the middle of the Pac-10 season and have four loss es and not have things go they way we thought they would. “But I think it’s a big possibility for us to go down there and take care of business.” RENTALS! 13th A Lawrence • 683-1300 • vww.liergsskistiop.cofn Berg’s Ski Bus to Willamette Pass, ML Bachelor & Hoodoo!
