Eugene this Saturday to participate in the
Prefontaine Classic Grand Prix* Prefontaine,
shown here running his last race at Hayward
Field, died in May 1975 and this event honors his
greatness. A statue of Bill Bowerman, Pres coach
while he attended Oregon, will be unveiled
