The hours for the weeks are: Wednesday, Dec. 3:8 a.m. to 1 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 4:8 a.m. to 1 a.m. Friday, Dec. 5: 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 6:10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 7: 10 a.m. to 1 a.m. Monday, Dec. 8 through Thursday, Dec. 11:8 a.m. to 1 a.m. Friday, Dec. 12: 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Conservation group to give presentation Predator Project, a Bozeman, Montana-based conservation group, will give a slide presen tation on the natural history and ecology of the lynx, wolverine, fisher and marten on Dec. 4 at 7 p.m. in Room 125 of Grayson Hall. The group has recently joined other con* servation groups in filing a lawsuit against the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service for failing to protect the lynx under the Endangered Species Act. David Gaillard, Predator Pro ject’s forest carnivore coordina tor, will answer questions at the end of the 40-minute show. For more information contact Gaillard at (406) 587-3389. Traffic fines double within school zones The City of Eugene wants drivers to know fines in Eu gene will double for motorists receiving traffic citations in school zones effective today. All traffic infractions in school zones are covered under the new fine schedule, including but not limited to a $178 ticket for speeding up to 10 mph over the posted limit, $230 for fail ing to stop at a stop sign, and $1,260 for passing a school bus stopped with its lights flashing. The Oregon Legislature enact ed the higher fines earlier this year. The Eugene Public Works Department finished installing signs in all school zones in the city of Eugene last week. PIZZA! Healthy persons 65 years or older. 2. Persons with long-term heart or lung problems. 3. Persons with any of the following: kidney disease, cystic fibrosis, diabetes, anemia, severe asthma and conditions which compromise immune mechanism. Influenza vaccine may be given to persons wishing to reduce their chances of catching the flu, persons who provide essential community services and students or others in schools or colleges.
