VJ/Z/JAtA TZZ/’S OCRTuR^ AQ QUESTION: What is the name of the gate located between the Law School and Robinson Theater? ANSWER: The Dads Gate. It was a joint project between the federal govern ment and the Oregon Dads organization. Started in 1938, the project ran into financial trouble and took 2 years to finish. The UO vice president at the time, Burt Brown Barker, contributed $1,650 of his own money so the gate could be finished in September 1940. Congratulations to: BILL SMEE Tuesday’s trivia winner!
