After shooting 37.5 percent from three-point range last season, Lawrence is once again blistering the nets. In nine non conference games, he shot 57 percent from the field and 52 percent from downtown while scoring 14.2 points per game. ▲ JAMAR CURRY: The guard/forward is the emotional leader and defensive specialist for the Ducks. The junior can stop just about anybody and also bring down the house with some thunderous slam dunks. ▲ HEAD COACH JERRY GREEN: The South Carolina native is in his fifth season as Oregon's head coach, with an overall record of 65-59. Green, who has 14 years of head coaching experience and four years of being an assistant under Kansas head coach Roy Williams, has compiled an overall collegiate coaching record of 318-197. He hopes to coach his talented team back to the NCAA for the second time last three years. A Kyle Milling: The senior, in his second year at Oregon, is the Ducks’ enforcer inside, averaging 12.7 points and 7.8 rebounds per game in non-conference play. Milling transferred to Oregon after his sophomore season at UC Santa Barbara. « KENYA WILKINS: The senior point guard is the heart and soul of the Ducks. He leads the team in scoring and assists and has already proven that he does not crack under pressure. This year alone, Wilkins has made game-winning shots against Boise State and Oregon State. He has started all 94 games of his collegiate career. ▼ CINDIE EDAMURA: The senior will provide veteran leadership at the point guard position tor the Ducks this season. She was one of three players to start all 29 games last season and has started the first 10 this season, extending her consecutive games started streak to 57. ◄ ARIANNE BOYER: The forward returns for her senior season and is already one of the top 10 scorers and rebounders in Oregon school history. With averages of 15 points and 9.5 rebounds through 10 games this season, she will continue to improve that standing. Boyer was a first team all-conference selection a year ago. ◄ HEAD COACH JODY RUNGE: Three years into her first head coaching stint, Runge has put together a 56-30 overall record and a 34-20 mark in Pac-10 contests. This season she hopes to guide her team beyond the first round of the NCAA tournament, something the Ducks haven’t done during the Runge era. ◄ NATALIE HUGHES: The junior-transfer joins the Ducks this season after two stellar seasons at Central Arizona CC. The guard averaged 13.8 points, 6.7 assists and 3.9 steals during her junior college career. Hughes figures to be a key player off the bench for a team that is gunning for its fourth straight NCAA tournament bid. \\ ◄ RENAE FEGENT: The senior center from Australia, given an additional season of eligibility by the NCAA last year, will be going after her third straight all-Pac 10 first-team selection. She has career averages of 15.5 points and 7.7 rebounds per game while shooting over 51 percent from the field. Arizona will be a contender for one of the top three posi tions, along with the Oregon, in the Pac-10. ■ DATE: Saturday, Jan. 25 ■ TIME: 7 p.m. CALIFORNIA ■ DATE: Thursday, Feb. 13 ■ TIME: 7 p.m. GAME TO WATCH STANFORD The Ducks will face the Cardinal for the second time in Pac-10 play, this time at home. Stanford, a perennial conference powerhouse, will be looking to avoid being jolted in its quest for a third straight Final Four appearance. ■ DATE: Saturday, Feb. 15 ■ TIME: 7 p.m. GAME TO WATCH use The Trojans will be one of the other contenders at the top of the Pac-10 this year.
