Dragon *tud«nt» hear the phrase "Track Town,* duiHiM *rr the Ora! thing they think of it the local pun parlor Granted. piua ta a very important part of an under graduate education, however. "Track Town" means a good deal more to people living in Kugnne and in the surround ing community Track Town. USA is sn unofficial nickname for the city of Eugene, a name that reflects both the tuccoas of Oregon's track and field pro gram and •MW iru^iwu* the community shows (or thr Imid and its athletes In short, Eugene is • track town. Track huts in Eugene love to Como out and support their beloved Ducks at Hayward Plaid, and they coma out in dmvos to do so.
