member, I know with intimate
experience that most elected
campus officials have little
political expertise or concern
for their constituents Their
position is merely for resume
padding Therefore, I am quite
cx< ited by the fact that Damela

Students should have the
right to vote for two i undidates
out of the pool for seats 1 and 2,
hut the Elections Board altered
this right (officially) in the
eleventh hour Candidates then
had to arbitrarily file for an
identical seat, 1 or 2. Mv peti
tion to the Constitutional Court
failed (although I have asked for
a ret onsideration because they
used faulty information in their
opinion).
Last year and years previous,
students have t>een able to vote
for two (or even three) out of a
pool for multiple position seats,
which 1 and 2 art* t hop*' this
clear* up any confusion
