The School of Music will help record a library of University related songs. Mosely and Bascorn demon strated the now system's capa bilities, treating an almost 50 member audience to several key board solos. The new system, which does not actually use any bells, "should last as long as the last one," said Mike Tedrow, of Schulmerioh Carillons Inc., the company that made both the orig inal and the new boll systems. The 37-note carillon uses elec tronically generated bell tones whi< h were digitally sampled from actual bells. "You're not hearing a synthe sizer," Tedrow said. "You're actu ally hearing a bell that's being reproduced."
