The Mealing Place, located at 854 E. 13th Ave. offers the lowest priced cup of java on campus at only 30 cents a cup. The restaurant's coffee is designer quality and ground at the counter. The restaurant's close proximity to campus makes it a handy place to ac quire a cup of coffee between classes. The Meeting Place's ham burgers are arguably the best on campus, and the omelets are of good quality too. The restaurant also lists some Middle Eastern food among its menu idems. Much of the food, unfor tunately, is overpriced. Never theless. the Meating Place re mains a convienent, inexpen sive place to drink coffee. Surprisingly. Kinko’s Copies, located directly next door to The Meating Place at 860 E. 13th Ave. has an excellent selection of imported coffee. Although Kinko's is not a place one would ordinarily think of as a coffee house, it is open 24 hours a day and continuously offers a wide assortment of beans and blends. One does not go into Kinko's and sit down to await service. Instead, there is a fast-serve counter for the convenience of fulfilling an early-morning — or late-night — caffeine craving. As such, Kinko’s coffee counter is particularly expedient for those with time constraints or generally on the run. in addition to selling coffee and tea by the cup Kinko’s also TIr“ MacNtll lxlircr NEWS HOUR 7 pm weeknights IVoOMixJ Ml *'**' iVaMi TuHi> IV.mJi Hun; hkJ uikjitmihf ^ N H»lfc'*r sells coffee by the pound with an assortment including the following: decaffeinated Col u m b i a n.
