Greeks endorse Brooks/Gaffney ticket I he Greek Endorsement Com mittee on Tuesday announced it was endorsing Kasey Brooks and Karen Gaffney for ASUO president and vice president. The committee decided on Brooks and Gaffney because they offered the best representa tion for Greeks, said Christopher Piper, the commit tee's publicity coordinator. Piper also cit.ed the Brooks/Gaffney ticket as pro viding the best means for stu dent outreach, the best methods of looking at campus issues and its innovative ideas for getting Greeks involved in the govern ment process. ■ ** l' a*" ry.: ciechons -_ Brooks and Gaffney already have been endorsed by Con Continued from Page 5 Many of the students at the meeting said they didn't oppose the idea of having a research park, only the chosen location. The real complaint expressed by the students, however, con cerned the lack of student par ticipation in the decision making process surrounding the research park. At one point during the meeting. Commis sioner John Van Landingham asked Don Corson, who spoke on behalf of the Riverfront Research Park Commission, what the level of student representation was on the commission. Corson said there were no students, hut that students pro vided a "legitimate source of opinion." The Planning Commission will hold a public: forum on the Riverfront Project on April 16.
