ECOLOGY COLLOQUIUM: Peter Morin, from the biological science department at Rutgers University, will lecture on “Ex perimental Studies of Aquatic Community Structure today from 12:30 to 2 p.m. EDWARD COURTNEY, pro fessor of classics and chair of classics department at Stanford University, will lecture tonight at 8 in Room 204 Condon Hall on “The Oedipus of Seneca and the Oedipus of Sophocles.” MISCELLANEOUS THE HONORS COLLEGE FORUM •“Social Dilemma Reasearch: The Basis of Coopera tion in a Selfish World" will be held at 7:30 p.m. in Room 303 Chapman Hall tonight. Concert in Beall tonight to benefit arts students A music and dance show comes to Beall Hall tonight at 8 p.m., with "Performing Artists from Arts in Educa tion Program," a benefit concert for scholarship awards in dance, music, drama and fine arts. The show will open with a dance by Gwen Curran and Prime Time Movers. Music for the evening will include Handel's "Deutsche Arien," "Susse Stille" and "Meine Seele hort in Sehen"; Goodman’s "Ballad for Percussion and Solo Dancer"; Bolling’s "Sentimental”; Bernstein's "1 Hate Music"; and Gershwin’s "Rhapsody in Blue." Admission is $2 for adults and $1 for students and seniors. The concert is presented by Phi Beta, a national pro fessional fraternity for the creative and performig arts. The benefit concert is part of The Oregon Imagination Celebration, a statewide festival designed to heighten public awareness and involvement in education of the arts. Proceeds from this benefit will be used for scholar ships at the University in music, drama, dance and fine arts.
