    Antique Chinese works exibited
A benefit sale and exhibition
titled “200 years of Fine
Chinese Porcelain and
Cloisonne,” is scheduled at the
University’s Museum of Art
from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday
and Sunday.
Sponsored by the Friends of
the Museum of Art, the sale and
exhibition will feature works

The show and sale will in

decorative enameling, from the
Ching Dynasty (1644 - 1912) to
present. The porcelain pieces
will include fine Ching dynasty
wine jugs, ink boxes and water
vases.
Some of the items are
documented and certified and
prices may range from $15 to
$50,000.
The University’s fine arts
faculty exhibit, on display in
Gallery 141, will conclude this
Friday, making way for next
week’s graduate exhibit.
The exhibit covers a wide
variety of styles and methods,
including abstract, expres
sionist, realistic, landscape and
fantasy. Works include pain
ting, sculpture, fibers,
photography and jewlery.
• “This show provides a uni
que opportunity for the com
munity and students to look at
the work of our faculty,” says
Denise Clark, gallery director
and graduate teaching fellow.
“A Century of the Lively Arts, ” an exhibit display
ing the history of performing arts in Eugene, will be
