Ma Bell stains lawyer’s listing FORT WAYNE, Ind. <AP) — Dozens of would-be clients have been calling attorney Daniel Roby to tell him they’re "working on their tans” since the latest Yellow Pages directory hit the streets. On page 29 of the 1983-84 directory is a listing for Roby’s office. The name, address and telephone number are correct, but the ad also says Roby specializes in “Darker Per sonal Injury” cases. The lawyer explained a Yellow Pages representative called last year to ask him to renew his ad, and Roby asked for bolder type. "I told them they might make ‘personal in jury’ a little darker,” he said. “Needless to say, I didn’t expect them to take me literally. “We have been deluged ever since with calls from people who say they’re working on their tans so I can handle their cases,” Roby said. He said he contacted the company after the ad appeared and was told he wouldn’t have to pay the approximately $35 a month that such a listing would normally cost.
