Below is a list of running events slated this spring. Most of the events listed are Eugene area runs, but other runs of interest around the Northwest are listed. Additional information on upcoming running events, along with entry forms, is available at area running stores. The list below is a guide. Mental Health Association benefit run, 10 km at downtown Eugene, Sunday, April 17. Beaverton Education Association Road Run, 3 and 10 km at Beaverton High School, Beaverton, Oregon, Sunday, April 17, 1 p.m. Registration fee $6 before April 11 ($8 day of the race). Rainbow Run, 10 km beginn ing at Gilbert Hall at the University, Saturday, April 23, 9 a.m. Registration fee is $5 ($6 the day of the run). Spring Fling Fun Run, 2 mile and 10 km beginning at KASHKSND studio, Sunday, April 24, 9:30 a.m. Registration fee is $6.50 ($8 after April 17). Bon-a-thon, 5 km beginning at Valley Mall in Roseburg, Saturday, April 30, 9 a.m. Registration fee is $3 per per son and $5 per family.
