Campus-area crimes reported during the past week included the following: Eugene police evacuated PLC at 3:45 p.m. Wednesday after receiving a bomb threat call, according to Allison. Allison said the caller was female, but no suspects have been found. Police are investigating the PLC incident as well as another bomb threat made Tuesday night at Gilbert Hall. Police on Sunday arrested Loren Robert Norville, a 34-year-old transient after he reportedly caused a disturbance in the emer gency room at Sacred Heart Hospital. Sgt Rick Allison said the man was charged with disorderly conduct, assault and carrying a concealed weapon. He was arraigned Monday and is being held in the Lane County Jail. Police recovered an additional $400 worth of stolen property after arresting two 17-year-old Caswell Hall residents last week for theft and forgery. Allison said the watches, jewelry and cash was discovered during the investigation of a recent theft from Boynton Hall dormitory. Most of the property has been returned to the owners, according to Allison Police are looking for a white male adult suspected of burglarizing the Alpha Phi sorority house at 1050 Hilyard St. on Wednesday morning Allison said the suspect reportedly entered a second floor window, but police have not discovered any stolen or damaged property. The suspect was described as six feet tall, clean-shaven and wearing a black watchcap. A female student was chased out of PLC early Wednesday morning by three subjects wearing masks and gloves, according to Allison. He said the men apparently shouted obscenities at the woman but did not physically harm her. No suspects have been arrested. A Chevrolet pickup worth $1,200 was reported stolen from 13th Avenue and Columbia Street early Monday morning. Police are pursuing a possible suspect. Compiled by Aleta Zak ‘Fab four’ film fun featured Those four loveable mop tops, John, Paul, George and Ringo from Liverpool, England, will be performing at the University Friday and Saturday night in 107 Lawrence Hall. However, the performances will be on film rather than live. The "fab four”, as they were known to their more ardent ad mirers, were a popular musical group of the middle 1960s. They performed music that was heavily influenced by black rhythm’n’blues performers in America Their odd name, Bea tles, is said to have been a con tortion of Buddy Holly’s back-up band, the Crickets. A number of teen-age “Beat iemaniacs" adopted the four some’s pudding basin style haircut when they first appeared on the now defunct Ed Sullivan Show Many of those same fans, now way past their prime, still wear their hair in the pudding basin manner One of the films shown Friday and Saturday at 7 and 9:30 p.m. will be footage of their appear ance on the Sullivan show in 1964. The other films include a performance at Shea Stadium (a baseball park), the Hollywood Bowl (in Los Angeles), an ap pearance at Tokyo's Budokan (home of polite audiences) and “a funny BBC interview" after they received trinkets from England’s queen. The two hours of films chronicle the car eers of these mildly popular musicians of the 1960s.
