The committee considered requests by SNuFF, a group concerned with environmental and nuclear issues, and Frank Geltner, University program consultant, for the space Geltner said he wanted the space for expansion of his office, which is located in Suite 2 with the Cultural Forum Adam Schultz, SNuFF representative, said the program needed the space for its growing membership The group has 35-45 members and more students are joining with each meeting, he said Having SNuFF in Suite 1 would be appro priate since most of the groups in the suite are environmentally oriented, Schultz said The group also coordinates activities with the Suite 1 programs, he added Representatives from Suite 1 programs said they thought SNuFF fit in better with the envi ronmental orientation of the suite The programs also said they wanted to see a student organiza tion receive the space Geltner said the program consultant s office would give University groups without office space a place to work Students from such organiza tions could use the space for finding program related information, typing, and meeting, he said Geltner occupies the Suite 1 conference room, which was allocated to him last year and is subject to review at the end of the term John Dulcich, EMU Board chairer, moved to split the space between the groups The com mittee amended his motion in a 5-2 vote, with Dulcich and EMU director Adell McMiilan dissen ting, allocating half the space to SNuFF and retaining the other half for further discussion. ASUO representative Paul Rudinsky said Geltner should work with Vincson Green, ASUO vice president for program development, to find space in Suite 4 for program expansion Mona, I've finally decided where I'd like to make my career: State Farm!
