Students must present a current certificate of registration and a plastic identification card with picture; faculty/staff must present their plastic identification card with picture and current validation sticker. There is a 15 cent service charge per check. Make checks payable to the Erb Memorial Union and include Eugene address and phone number (or department and extension for faculty /staff) on the check. The limit on checks is $10.00 unless otherwise posted. When writing checks, double-check your bank balance. Make sure what you think will be a “good check” doesn’t turn out to be a “bad check.” If your check is returned, there is a service charge of $7.50. This is in addition to any service charge charged by your bank. You will also lose the privilege of cashing checks at the Erb Memorial Union for the remainder of the year (July 1, 1982—June30, 1983). To abide by policies set forth by the banks: 1) We cannot accept counter checks, 2) There can be no alterations or changes made on checks, 3) We cannot accept personal second party checks and 4) If you do not have personalized checks additional I.D. must be presented. Oregon summer fun ‘82 Tunes, eats, plays, rodeos await you Rays, music festivals, rodeos and regattas highlight the numerous activities throughout the Oregon summer. The exotica seeker can mange at the clam chowder festival this weekend at the Curry County Fairgrounds in Gold Beach or the Tanabata (Star Festival) on July 7 at Port land's Japanese Garden. For the rodeo buff, there's a veritable roundup of Oregon events. July serves up the Emerald Empire Round-up Rodeo the 8th through the 10th at the Lane County Fairgrounds in Eugene. Prineville will hold its annual Crooked River Roundup the same weekend at the Crook County Fairgrounds. Music to calm a variety of savage summer beasts abounds this summer. From June 28 to July 11 the Oregon Bach Festival at the University's Beall Hall affords the busy sum mer student a healthy dose of classical music. Fans of traditional American music may enjoy bluegrass fes tivals at the Washington County Fairgrounds in Hillsboro on July 24, or at Salem's Mission Mill Historic Center August 13 to 15. For jazz fanciers, Jacksonville offers the Britt Gardens Jazz Festival August 27 and 28 The Mt. Hood Festival of Jazz at the Mt.
