Deady Presidential awards from the University. Leann Warren and Alberto Salazar were picked for the recently inaugurated award program because, in the words of the citation accompanying the award, “through your ex traordinary achievements you bring honor to yourself, to your state and to the Universi ty of Oregon.” Warren, who led the Oregon women to a second-place finish at the NCAA cross country championship meet in late November, is expected to receive the award Dec. 9 dur ing halftime of the Oregon Athletes in Action basketball game at McArthur Court.
