Tuesday event set
for older students
An informational program for adults who have questions
about taking courses at the University will happen Tuesday
Dubbed the "Older Than Average Students information
Faire," the program will take place from 5 30 p m to 7 30 p m
in the Gerlinger Hall Alumni Lounge at East 15th and Univer
sity It is free and open to all students and community
members
Student coordinator Claire O'Connell says the event "is
designed for adult learners who do not have the time to
participate in the regular student orientation week because
they work or have families "
Regular orientation events are spread over several days
but the fair will consolidate the information in one place at one
time
"The fair is also designed for those people who just want to
see if school is possible for them, she says So many people
postpone going back to school because they think they can't
fit it all in, and this fair may help them decide that they can "
The fair will be divided into four cluster areas — academic,
campus and community services jobs and careers, and
social activities and groups Representatives from major
University and community support services will attend and
adult students will provide informational peer counseling
Further information about the fair is available from its
sponsor, the Lifelong Learning Services Program at

McMillan says she foresees

continue the Mexican food line
which has proven to be ex

The EMU food service has
had only a few complaints
regarding the quality of its food,
says McMillan, who believes this
is because EMU food is more
like restaurant food than insti

"We are always concerned
about the quality and variety of
the food and meeting the likes
