Scoles wins law honors
Eugene Scoles, University
law professor and dean of the
School of Law from 1968-74,
was honored March 27 by St.
Mary’s University School of Law
for outstanding achievement in
and contribution to law and
goverment.
Scoles recieved the St.
Thomas More Award from the
San Antonio school for “out
standing contributions to legal
education and the profession of
law as a nationally recognized
teacher, scholar, author, dean
and president of the Association
of American Law Schools.”
During his 35-year career,
Scoles taught at Northeastern
University, the University of
Florida, the University of Illinois,
joining the University faculty in
1965.

the second in a series of six in "Under
standing Sexual Violence” will be held
